Unless otherwise stated, the content created by Built for Adventure, including our branding, written material, photographs, videos, graphics, guides and other original material, is owned by or licensed to Built for Adventure.

You may view and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Our content cannot be reproduced, republished, sold, commercially exploited or presented as someone else's work without our permission.

Information and Adventure Content

Our website includes information about 4x4s, vehicle setups, modifications, touring, camping, destinations, equipment and adventure activities.

This information is general in nature.

User-Submitted Content

We love seeing where the Built for Adventure community goes and how people set up their adventures.

If you voluntarily send or submit photographs, videos, stories, reviews or other content to us for sharing, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content.

You retain ownership of your original content.

By submitting content for us to feature, you give Built for Adventure permission to use, reproduce, edit, format and share that content through our website, social media channels and other Built for Adventure content and promotional channels.

We may credit you using the name or handle you provide for publication. Tell us if you prefer another attribution or do not want your name published.

If another person is clearly identifiable in content you submit, obtain their permission, including permission from a parent or guardian where appropriate for a child. Do not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful content. We may decline or remove submissions. Permission to feature community content does not apply merely because you send us a private enquiry or order information.

Online Shop

Our online shop may offer Built for Adventure merchandise and other products.

Product descriptions, images, sizing and other information are provided to help you make your purchase. Colours and appearance can vary slightly depending on screens, production processes and individual products.

Prices and Payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Shipping and any other applicable charges are displayed before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be successfully completed before an order is processed. Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout. Payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices.

Orders

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. An automated receipt confirms that we have received your order; we accept the order when we send a dispatch confirmation.

Before acceptance, we may decline an order if stock is unavailable, payment cannot be processed, there is a genuine pricing or listing error, or we reasonably suspect fraud. We will explain the issue and refund any payment for an order we decline. We will not increase an agreed price without your consent.

If a supply problem arises after acceptance, we will contact you to agree on an alternative or arrange a refund for the unavailable goods and any associated shipping charges that no longer apply. If the whole order is cancelled, we will refund the full payment.

Stock Availability

Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you. A substitute will only be supplied with your agreement; otherwise we will arrange the relevant refund.

Shipping

We currently ship within Australia.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by circumstances outside our control, including carrier delays and events affecting transport networks.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information when placing your order.

Returns and Exchanges

We accept change-of-mind return requests within 30 days of delivery for unused and unworn goods in their original condition, with tags attached where applicable. Customers pay change-of-mind return postage.

Exchanges depend on stock availability. We must receive the original goods before sending a replacement, and additional shipping may apply. Sale and clearance exchanges depend on available stock or a suitable replacement agreed with you.

Our Shipping & Returns Policy sets out the process, refund arrangements and your rights when goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect. The 30-day limit and change-of-mind conditions do not limit Australian Consumer Law rights.

Consumer Guarantees

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy where a product does not meet applicable consumer guarantees.

Promotions

From time to time, we may offer promotions, discount codes, competitions or special offers.

Additional conditions may apply to a particular promotion and will be communicated with that offer.

Those businesses operate independently and have their own terms and privacy practices. Built for Adventure is not responsible for third-party websites or services.

We may update these Terms as the website, shop and community evolve. The current version will be published with its update date. Changes apply to future orders and do not retrospectively change an existing order or remove accrued rights.
